SERIAL ENTREPRENEUR.
VISUAL THINKER.
STRATEGIC PROBLEM SOLVER.

Jayne is a serial entrepreneur, visual thinker, and strategic problem-solver whose career spans creative media, healthcare, education and public service.

Shaped by her family's experience with U.S. WWII incarceration and her upbringing on Chicago's West Side, she brings resilience, ingenuity, and an unconventional perspective to her work. Her contributions have earned national recognition through awards, grants, and leadership roles across both creative and healthcare fields.

HEALTHCARE

Licensed acupuncturist in New York and Hawaii, and nationally board certified (NCBAHM) since 2004.

Founded the acupuncture programs at the cancer and women's health centers at The Queen's Medical Center — the largest hospital in the Pacific Basin.

Received four major grants from Susan G. Komen for the Cure to provide acupuncture treatment to low-income breast cancer patients.

Her collaborative work with oncology patients has been recognized with local and national awards.

Appointed by two governors, she served on the Hawaii Board of Acupuncture, four years as Chair.

MEDIA, BRANDING & DESIGN

Before transitioning to healthcare, Jayne was a creative director for major media and consumer brands, including Lifetime Television, ABC-TV, Vanity Fair, and Calvin Klein — earning national design and communications awards.

As director of marketing, she helped launch Calvin Klein's Obsession for Women, one of the largest and most provocative fragrance launches of its time.

Through her own NYC design firm, Cross Check, she later developed trend-setting brands in the emerging pet and self-care industries.

She also owned Lucky Strike in Sag Harbor, New York, where she curated and sold mid-century modern design and furniture.
